Responsible for leading business analysis expertise for technology initiatives around Business Continuity Planning for Quality Assurance. Partners with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for simple to moderate business problems and recommend comprehensive technology solutions. Uses domain specific and technology application(s) knowledge to conduct detailed analysis in response to business & technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements. Responsible for monitoring & managing Quality Assurance schedules and deliverables. Works with business users to develop and provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs and recommend changes. Applies deep knowledge of data accuracy, corporate policies and data security to any aspects of the project. May provide guidance and direction to teams, in addition to planning and delivering project initiatives.

This position is part of the Information Technology Disaster Recovery Management (ITDRM) and will be responsible for providing support for the Wells Fargo Technology Business Continuity Planning program.

The Position will:

  • Function as a Lead on the BCP QA team

  • Review Business Unit and/or Technology Business Continuity Plans for accuracy.

  • Monitor Compliance of the Business Continuity Plans within Wells Fargo Technology.

  • Identifying and report key risk issues directly to Plan Owners.

  • Report findings to Wells Fargo Technology Leadership and stakeholders.

  • Ensure Business Continuity planning issues and concerns (e.g. planning and testing deficiencies, program concerns, and open risk items) are addressed or escalated.

  • Update System of Record (Operational Resiliency System) to record review of plans as evidence.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis or design as demonstrated through work, military, or education

  • 5+ years of information technology experience

  • 7+ years of business continuity planning experience

  • 4 + years of risk identification and documentation experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of operation work flows/processes

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of governance and compliance expected from providing solutions in systems and technology domains

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Meeting facilitation experience in leading discussions that result in consensus and commitment

  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications

  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and disaster recovery procedures/solutions

  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
