Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Specialties Tech Service & Product Development Technician located in Richmond, CA through January 23, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Support the Specialties Team in customer support/technical service and in product development activities. These activities include assisting in designing evaluations/programs, working in the laboratory, scheduling blends and tests, preparing summaries, and maintaining records. The candidate must have experience working in the laboratory. May require limited domestic travel.

Teamwork: Understands Team’s objectives and individual responsibilities; works well with other Team members and is willing to help others when business requires.
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Provides suggestions during planning phase of experiments. Understands tests results and is able to draw conclusions from them.
Project Planning and Organization: Able to manage daily activities with minimal supervision; understands priorities to ensure projects advance according to business needs; capable of working on multiple projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry
1-year prior relevant prior experience in a Chemistry lab
Additive industry experience
Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
